Welcome to my website. My name is Ashley Bell and I am a professional artist based in North Carolina. I specialize in highly detailed, original portraits in graphite and watercolor landscapes. I am currently accepting portrait commissions locally and through this site.

 

Growing up I always enjoyed drawing and painting and marveled at an artist’s ability to realistically recreate a landscape or still life with just pencil and paper or paint and brush. It is in this realistic style that I enjoy working. The creative challenge of achieving a balance of light and shadow while working through complex compositions and details is very fulfilling.
